Examination and X-Rays
Our dentist at Beyond Dental Clinic will begin with a thorough examination and take X-rays to assess the extent of the infection.
Anaesthesia
Local anaesthesia is administered to numb the area around the affected tooth, ensuring a pain-free experience.
Access Opening
An opening is made through the crown of the tooth to access the infected pulp.
Cleaning and Shaping
The infected pulp is removed, and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and shaped using special instruments.
Filling the Canals
The cleaned canals are filled with a biocompatible material, usually gutta-percha, and sealed with adhesive cement.
Restoration
After the root canal treatment, the tooth will need a final restoration, such as a crown, to protect it and restore its function.
